Make the city green, be a part of Blore's first Cycle Day on Oct 27

Bangalore, Oct 26: Increasing pollution levels and too much traffic on the road bothers you? Then here is your chance to make the city greener and congestion free.

The Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) in association with civic groups, cycling communities, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and other government bodies is organising 'Free Bengaluru Cycle Day'.

The first ever Cycle Day aims at making the city congestion free and aims at promoting a healthier and greener city by the usage of cycle. All you need to do is get your bicycle and ride to Cubbon Park. For those who don't have a bicycle, the DULT has organised bicycles in Cubbon Park that you can rent for the event.

Cycle Day will be organised on the last Sunday of every month

The event aims at promoting the usage of bicycle for short distance journey. It also aims at sensitising the citizens towards cyclists in the city. This will be a monthly event and will be organised on every last Sunday of the month.
