Karnataka Budget 2018: Is this Old-Mysore region Budget?' asks Twitterati

Bengaluru, July 5: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders opposed the maiden Budget of the Congress-JDS coalition government presented by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. The leaders vowed to oppose the Budget across the state.

The BJP MLAs held placards in the Assembly for ignoring north and coastal Karnataka regions.

First of all, the BJP MLAs called the Budget as 'Old-Mysore region' specific Budget. MLAs from the coastal region, which gave more number of BJP leaders, They criticised that Kumaraswamy hasn't mentioned about other cities of the state.

They alleged that he is focussed on Ramanagar, Mysore, Haasan, Mandya and Chamarjanagar. Incidentally, JDS and Congress dominate in these districts.

Former CM Jagadish Shettar called the farm loan waived by the CM is nothing but an eyewash. Senior leader R Ashok alleged that Kumaraswamy has ignored North Karnataka and Coastal regions. Also, netizens criticized the biased Budget towards a region on social media.
