Bengaluru, Oct 6: An under construction building in Bengaluru collpased on Wednesday killing four people and injuring many. The incident took place in Bellandur where the building came crashing down with several workers trapped under the debris.
Fire brigade personnel immediately sprung into action and managed to pull out a few workers. However, the death toll rose to four on Thursday after one person succumbed to his injuries.
Police officials filed a complaint of negligence against the building owner and its engineer, though they were not present when the accident took place. Meanwhile, two engineers were suspended pending an inquiry.
