Bengaluru, April 5: Until now, you must have seen or heard news related to women safety. But in Bengaluru, lonely men are also reportedly not safe, as a female gang is on the prowl to loot them.

As per a report published in Bangalore Mirror, N H Gowda, a businessman became the victim of this female gang recently. The incident reportedly happened at around 12.20 am in Indiranagar, a posh locality, when he stopped his car at a traffic signal.

A woman smiled at him and started making obscene gestures at him, and before he could react, another woman made her way into his car.

The woman had the audacity to ask him to drive her to an isolated place. When Gowda asked her to get out or face the police, she finally got out of the car, but fled with Gowda's 50 gm gold chain.

A complaint of cheating under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Indiranagar police station.

According to police, a female gang targetting lonely men is said to be active in areas such as Indiranagar, J B Nagar, Ulsoor and other areas. Many more such cases have been reported since last fortnight.

These women target their preys and once they are in their trap, they threaten them to accuse them in fake molestation case. Fearing this, men fall prey to the evil intentions of these cunning women and they are looted.

Women police personnel have been instructed to keep an eye out for them.
