Comedian Sunil Pal draws flak for LGBT comment
Bengaluru, June 1: While stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat's Snapchat video has raked up a huge controversy questioning comdey acts in the country and where should comedians draw a line, another well known stand-up comdian has drawn flak for his comments on the LGBT community.
Sunil Pal, of 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' fame, was on a news panel discussing Bhat's video and his shows, when he said: "Half of the people who come to his show are gays and lesbians, whose motive is to spoil the society."

This comment did not go down well with a lot of people who took to social media to criticise the veteran comedian's comments.
Pal, while speaking on the panel also criticised Bhat's shows and said: "He stands in front of the audience and cracks vulgar jokes, makes below the belt comments and even harasses men and women in the audience, who strangely seem okay with it."
Bhat is currently embroiled in a controversy for mocking celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar in a Snapchat video. He was earlier also criticised for conducting the AIB Roast on actors Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, which many claimed was done in bad taste.
