BJP accuses DC of troubling Sriramulu
Bangalore, April 3: Keeping on stake the party's relation with their senior leader Sushma Swaraj, BJP fielded B Sriramulu from Bellary Lok Sabha constituency.

And now, the tiff between former minister Sriramulu and Bellary Deputy Commissioner Amlan Aditya Biswas seems to have been re-ignited in the ongoing electoral battle, reported media.

The BJP on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Election Commission accusing Biswas, who is a district returning officer, of being biased towards Sriramulu and bringing out personal enmity in the name of fair polls.

They accused Biswas of creating troubles during BJP's campaign by putting up obstacles for Sriramulu, Sanna Fakirappa, Gonal Rajashekar Gowda and others.

Reacting to the allegations in Gulbarga, Bellary DC Amlan Aditya Biswas said: "Let the BJP do whatever it wants. My conscious is clear and I am doing my work without discriminating against any one."

Meanwhile, BJP state spokesperson Suresh Kumar, who lodged the complaint in Bangalore with the EC, has alleged that CCTV cameras have been installed outside the residences of Sriramulu and other BJP leaders infringing on the right to privacy of BJP leaders, showing clear bias against the party.

"The officer is acting in a biased manner as the Congress is misusing its power to ensure victory of its candidate," he said.
