Bengaluru, 27: After creating a furore in Kochi, Kolkata and New Delhi, the Kiss of Love campaign received a red flag from the Bengaluru Police on Wednesday thereby not allowing them to organise the event in the city.

However still determined to go ahead with the event, the organisers have said that the event will go ahead as planned on Sunday.

Will Kiss of Love spread its wings?

The event now allegedly has new organisers. The previous organisers decided to pull out of the event after they received life threats. But now Farmis Hashim who organised the Kochi- Kiss of Love is trying to garner support for the event that is against moral policing and wants the event to be a success in Bengaluru.

According to a statement released in the media, the organisers have said that they refused to bow down to moral policing and would carry out the protest.

"We are moving forward with the protest and expect every single person who would like to express his solidarity with voice against moral policing to gather there with us," the statement read.

The tentative date for the event is Nov 30 but the venue is yet to be announced. Earlier the organisers had planned to conduct the event at Town Hall but didn't receive the green signal from the police.

Meanwhile, Police Commissioner MN Reddi said that the decision was taken after much deliberation.
