Bangalore gangrape case: All four accused arrested

Bangalore, May 14: Three days after a 26-year old woman was allegedly gangraped in HSR Layout area of Bangalore, the police has arrested all four accused, on Tuesday night.

According to a report, the four accused have been identified as Bahubali Subash, Bahubali Shankarappa, Vinod and Manjunath, all are 23-year-olds. Subash and Shankarappa are cousins, Manjunath is a salesman at a bike showroom and Vinod is said to be a 2nd year engineering student.

The police arrested all of them as they traced the call details from the victim's mobile phone.

However, accused have a different story to tell. In their confession, they have claimed that they hired the woman from Mumbai by getting details from internet.

As per their conversation with her, she waited for them at Bellandur and Subhash took her to his house in Whitefield.

However, after reaching there, she "refused to entertain them", that led to argument.

They claimed that during altercation, one of them pushed her from the building. They all have claimed that they didn't rape woman.

The police has asked for their custody from the court and have booked them on charges of rape and attempt to murder.

Presently, the victim is undergoing treatment at Vani Vilas hospital.

In her statement, she alleged that she met a person on the Outer Ring road, who took her at a lodge, saying that a 'customer' was waiting for her. But when she reached there, four men were already present there.
