Yeddyurappa continues dharna on day 2
Belgaum, Nov 27: A war of words is in the making when former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa alleged that the current CM Siddaramaiah was governing the state like a dictator.

"Siddaramaiah is governing the state as a dictator and not taking his party legislators and ministers into confidence before implementing any scheme. He has been isolated by his own party over several issues including Shaadi Bhagya Yojana," the KJP leader said.

Yeddyurappa: I will abide by the decision taken in that meeting

Yeddyurappa's comments were an outcome of reports that stated that Siddaramaiah was facing tough questions from the Muslims party legislators in the Congress over the over the Shaadi Bhagya Yojana.

Yeddyurappa was on a dharna for the second consecutive night and continued to demand that the government extends its scheme to provide Rs 50,000 marriage assistance to all communities.

Currently the scheme is available only to poor Muslim girls. He said he would continue his dharna till his demands were not met.

He asked the CM to convene a meeting of opposition party leaders to discuss his demands on the scheme. "I will abide by the decision taken in that meeting," he said.
