Who is Brenton Tarrant? a 'right-wing terrorist' with Australian citizenship and a personal trainer


Christchurch, Mar 15: The 28-year-old Australian gunman Brenton Tarrant live-streamed the slaughter on Facboook and identifed himself on Twitter after 49 people were killed and dozens more were injured in terrorist shooting attacks at two Christchurch mosques.

According to reports, a Gym manager Tracey Gray has confirmed the man who filmed the attack and streamed it online was Tarrant.

She said he worked at the gym after he finished school in 2009 until 2011, when he left to go travelling overseas in Asia and in Europe. Gray also said she recalled that Tarrant's father Rodney died from some kind of asbestos-related illness when Tarrant was finishing high school.

Tarrant, and another gunman targeted two mosques during the bloodbath, injuring at least twenty people. Three men and a woman have been arrested.

Far-right extremist Tarrant published a chilling 73-page manifesto before carrying out the massacre. The white supremacist revealed he was inspired by Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in 2011.

Tarrant claimed he wanted revenge for "thousands of deaths caused by foreign invaders" and used GoPro footage to broadcast the shooting to the world. He let off volleys from automatic weapons to spray the mosque, scrawling the names of other mass murderers on his deadly firearms.

In his chilling The Great Replacement' document, the assassin laid bare his deranged ideology, claiming he was influenced by far-right Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik, who murdered 77 people in 2011.

The twisted shooter claimed to be "just a ordinary White man, 28 years old. Born in Australia in a working class, low income family.
