Riyadh, Aug 21: Believe it or not! a 21 year old man, weighing 610 kilos was forklifted and shifted to the hospital at the monarch's expense for obesity treatment.

Khaled Mohsin Shairi was flown down from his south-western hometown of Jizan to Riyadh on a plane that was customised to his space and medical requirements, stated the SPA state news agency.

Following an order by King Abdullah, the health ministry had to arrange for a specially-made bed and a crane to transfer Shairi from his second-floor apartment to the hospital. He will undergo a treatment to reduce weight. Although the health ministry did not specify the nature of treatment he will undergo, it can be assumed that he is being treated for obesity.
