Congress, JMM set to form government in Jharkhand
New Delhi, July 5: JMM leader Hemant Soren on Thursday had a long meeting with AICC general secretary B K Hariprasad, who is also the incharge for Jharkhand affairs is likely to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday to formally finalise the alliance and announce the formation of the new government.
The details would be announced after the meeting with Sonia, the blue print of the coalition in which Chief Minister post will be given to the JMM and the speaker post will be given to Congress and there is no creation of Deputy Chief Minister post, congress sources said.
Hemant Soren, son of JMM leader Shibu Soren, who is tipped to be the next chief minister of the coalition government led by JMM and Congress in Jharkhand, the state is under the President's rule since January 2013.
