Manchester, Oct 24: Manchester United came back to beat Sporting Braga, Barcelona late winner sinks Scottish giants Celtic, Chelsea beaten in Ukraine by Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus held by debutants Nordsjaelland, all the results from the UEFA Champions League game week 3.

A brace from from Javier Hernandez helped Manchester United beat Portuguese side Sporting Braga 3-2 at Old Trafford. United went down by two goals in 20 minutes after Alan netted twice. Centre-back Jonny Evans scored the equaliser as Red Devils maintain top spot in Group H.

A major blow for defending champions Chelsea after they fell 2-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. Alex Teixeira put the host ahead in less than three minutes while Fernandinho added another early in the second half. Brazilian playmaker Oscar got one back for the visitors with only minutes left.

Celtic suffered a last-minute defeat against Barcelona after Jordi Alba's injury-time goal put the Catalans 2-1 ahead at the Camp Nou. Barca went down to Georgois Samaras' 18 minute opener but Andres Iniesta equalised just before half-time.

Juventus were held 1-1 against competition debutants Nordjaelland. Mikkel Bechmann's opening goal was cancelled out by Mirko Vucinic's late equaliser.

BATE Borisov suffered their first defeat against Valencia as striker Roberto Soldado netted a brilliant hat-trick to take the La Liga side on top of group F.

Thomas Muller's 20-minute penalty was enough to seal Bayern Munich a much-needed win against French side Lille.

Portuguese giants Benfica fell to 2-1 defeat against Spartak Moscow. Rafael Carioca needed less than two minutes to put the home side ahead. Lima equalised for the visitors in the 33rd minute but Brazilian defender Jardel's own goal before half-time sealed three points for the Russian side.

Galatasaray were held back by Romanians CFR in Istanbul. The match ended 1-1 after defender Danny Nounkeu's own goal was levelled by Burak Yilmaz.
