Lisbon, Oct 3: Robin van Persie scored twice to help Manchester United comeback from a goal down to win 2-1 against CFR Cluj. The Red Devils top Group H with six points after winning two in as many games.

Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas scored as Barcelona dominated over Benfica beating them 2-0. Tito Vilanova's side top group G with two wins but captain Carles Puyol had to be stretchered off with a broken elbow. Sergio Busquets was sent off two minutes from time.

Bate Borisov shocked last seasons finalists Bayern Munich beating the Germans 3-1. Goals from Alexander Pavlov and Vitaly Rodionov gave the home side a two-goal lead. Bayern winger Frank Ribery pulled one back but Renan Bressan killed the game off to take them on top of group F.

Juan Mata inspired Chelsea to a comfortable 4-0 victory over debutants Nordsjaelland. The Spaniard scored twice along with late goals from Brazilian duo Ramirez and centre-back David Luiz helped the holders jump to top spot in group E.

Georgios Samaras headed in a late winner to help Celtic win their first away game in the Champions League. The Scottish giants got the better of 10-men Spartak Moscow after goals from Gary hooper and an own goal from Dimitri Kombarov cancelled out Emmanuel Emenike's double. The match ended 2-3.

Juventus were held at home by Shaktar Donetsk in a 1-1 draw. Leonardo Bonucci equalised after Alex Teixeira put the visitors ahead.

Valencia beat Lille 2-0 thanks to brace from Jonas. Just when the Franch side were dominating, the Brazilian put the home side ahead in the first half. In the 74th minute, Jonas' cross tricked Lille goalkeeper Mickael Landreau to sneak in at the far post.

Braga earned three points away from home after beating Galatasaray 2-0 in the group H clash. Ruben Micael gave the deserved lead in the 27th minute. Galatasaray pushed forward in search of an equaliser but failed to do so with some poor finishing. The Portuguese side later added an injury0time goal through skipper Alan.
