Seat next to Rekha in Rajya Sabha, no says Jaya Bachchan

New Delhi, May 3: Bollywood's yesteryear actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan asked for a seat change in the Rajya Sabha, when she was allotted a seat in the same row with actress Rekha.

According to the Samajwadi Party MP, she wanted to sit next to her party members.

The Samajwadi Party has agreed to rearranging seats of their members, with Jaya Bachchan all set to swap her seat with Kiranmoy Nanda after her request. The SP MP was allotted seat number 91 earlier.

Her request has been accepted by the Rajya Sabha secretariat, said sources.

Meanwhile, there are no reports on when Rekha and Sachin Tendulkar will take their oath as members of Rajya Sabha.

Sources reveal that Rekha and Sachin will be allotted vacant seat numbers 98, 99 and 103 and the same would be given to them after consultations.
