Iran cuts oil supplies to 6 European nations, is India next?
Local TV channels in the country said that Tehran stopped supplying of crude oil to six European countries following some sanctions (by European Union) including boycotting of new oil contracts with Iran.
No details have been received yet and the TV reports did not even disclose the names of the six countries which will affected by the recent decisions taken by Iranian government.
Here it can be recalled that Iran's oil minister, Rostam Qassemi earlier had hinted that the country may cut off oil exports to "hostile" European nations. The minister's statement came following the same controversy over Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
Media reports on Wednesday said that Iran has made advances in its nuclear programme, building new uranium enrichment centrifuges and producing its own nuclear reactor fuel plates.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to announce all details of nuclear achievement by Tehran. Meanwhile, many started speculating that the president's announcement may unsettle the United States and allies who believe Iran is also forging ahead with atomic weapon development.
