Bangalore Metro website crashes on first day of its launch
“There were about six lakh clicks on the BMRCL website on Thursday. The traffic was so high that the site stopped functioning. Now we have launched a more public friendly website where passengers can book tickets or write in with their queries," said BMRCL PRO.
“The website also has a toll- free helpline number, details of facilities at the stations, the route map, the email address which passengers can write to with their queries or complaints, an option to buy the Namma Metro Card online, various do"s and don"ts, Metro timings and everything else a passenger needs to know before travelling on the trains," he added.
To get your queries answered, visit the Namma Metro website: http://bmrc.co.in/ and then go to the homepage where you will find an option at bottom right " click here to view our new operations website" to get all the queries answered.
Bangalore's own Namma Metro was launched amid celebrations on Oct 20 with many people making a beeline to travel on the metro.
