G+ Games effect: Facebook 'Making Games Better'
Meanwhile, after the launch of Google Plus, Facebook has been feeling the heat and added more features to its platform. Facebook added video calling feature, which is similar to Google Plus' Hangouts. Also, Facebook added group chat service and launched a standalone app called Facebook Messenger app for mobile that offers group chat feature, photo sharing etc, but, it was a copy of Google+'s Huddle or BlackBerry Messenger.
Taking the fight to new levels, Google Plus announced the launch of Google+ games that allow users to play social games like Angry Birds, Zynga Poker, Diamond Dash etc. Facebook offers better entertainment to its users with social games, which also bring enormous revenue to it. But, the war is still going on.
Few hours after Google announced games on G+, Facebook heralded the launch of new features to its games service. According to them, this new features will make it easier to find new games and play with friends.

A new game ticker
When you're playing games, you'll now see a separate stream of your friends' game activity, scores and achievements in a ticker. The best way to find new games is through friends, and now you'll have more opportunities to see what they're playing. Also, you can control who can see these stories for each individual app in your Settings.
