Microsoft irks Google with 'GMail Man' spoof video
According to media reports, Microsoft has used this 'GMail Man' spoof video at the Microsoft Global Exchange conference to rally the Office 365 salesforce.
The alleged GMail Man video mocks the idea of Gmail keyword advertising and says that the Google+ maker Google does not have respect for users' privacy. The video showed that the man who is acting as 'GMail Man' browses through emails to find keywords.
The GMail Man continued his "just skimming" through users' emails to identify keywords for targeted ads and when users question this, he replied, "Who cares?"

"Well, sometimes when a person really loves their Gmail very, very much, the two get together... and an ad is born," Gmail Man said in the spoof video.
The video mentions Microsoft's new cloud service, Microsoft Office 365, and shows the offices of a business named Contoso Ltd., which was a alleged fictional company used in demos for Microsoft products.
This video was leaked during the Microsoft Global Exchange conference and the technology blog ZDNet posted it on YouTube.
