Apple wants ban on import of Samsung products in US

New York, Jul 7: The latest episode in the fight between Apple and Samsung revealed that both the giants want ban on each others! The iPhone maker Apple has filed a petition with the US International Trade Commission to ban imports of Samsung products in United States.

The patent infringement legal battle between Apple and Seoul based Samsung has escalated to new levels as both of them filed petition to ban import of the each others product. Apple's petition popped up a week after Samsung asked the US authorities to ban import of iPads and iPhones.

The latest fight between these market leaders started on Apr 15 after Apple's petition in California federal court saying that Samsung's Galaxy smartphones and tablets violated patents laws by copying its iPads and iPhones.

Later, Samsung urged the court to ask Apple to show their upcoming iPad 3 and iPhone 5. But Apple retorted saying that Samsung's demand to see the next versions of iPad and iPhone was an "attempt to harass."
