Murli Deora to resign ahead of Cabinet reshuffle?

He also drew flak in the CAG report that was reported to have favored Reliance Industries.
Sources have however claimed that Deora's decision to call it quits has got nothing to do with the aforesaid causes. The sources have claimed that Deora feels he was too old to continue in the Cabinet. There are also talks that he wants to push his son Milind Deora as a minister of state in the council of ministers. Milind is a two-time MP from South Mumbai.
A source within the Congress party has revealed that Deora was not pleased by the way he was slammed by his successor S Jaipal Reddy in the CAG report that pointed out several violations in the petroleum ministry contracts during the term 2006-2008.
