Try out new features on Google Search, It's Awesome!
During a special event at San Francisco, Google unveiled three new features namely, Google Instant Pages, Search by Image and Voice Search to desktop, for better and speedy search result. Google said these new features will help people to speed up Web searches on mobiles and smartphones.
Google Fellow Amit Singhal said that the web search on mobile devices is growing at a comparable pace to Google desktop version. In the past two years, mobile search traffic has grown five-fold. The increase in mobile search helped Google to overcome the summer slump or the weekend and night search declines.
Here is the new features on Google Search:
Google Voice Search: Earlier Google introduced Voice Search on mobiles, but now this feature will also available on desktops. Google added speech recognition into search on desktop for Chrome users. Chrome users will start to see a little microphone in every Google search box. Just click the microphone and speak the search. Voice Search on desktop is rolling out now on google.com in English.
Search by Image: Google added the search by snapping a photo on desktop version. Next to the microphone on images.google.com, users will also see a little camera for the new Search by Image feature. By clicking on the camers, users can upload any picture or plug in an image URL from the web and ask Google to figure out what it is.
Instant Pages: This new feature, which improves the search speed drastically by pre-rendering, will be available with next beta release of Chrome. Google said that that they have been working for years to develop the relevance technology.

"Instant Pages can get the top search result ready in the background while you"re choosing which link to click, saving you yet another two to five seconds on typical searches," Google said in its blog.
