New Delhi, Dec 11: Strangled former Union Telecom Minister A Raja said that he will cooperate with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to prove his innocence in the 2G spectrum scam.

"It is a scrutiny. I will fully cooperate with the agency (CBI). Whatever be the procedure, I have to comply with it," said A Raja.

"No one is above scrutiny. I am ready for any procedure. If anything is needed by CBI, I will cooperate. That is all I want to say," he replied when asked about the raids in his residences.

CBI is likely to question A Raja for his involvement in the 2G spectrum allotment scam. Earlier on Dec 8, CBI officials had conducted raids in A Raja's residences in Chennai and Delhi.

CBI also raided houses and offices of A Raja's relatives and aides. Sources in CBI reported that during the raid on Raja house, they had seized Raja's personal diaries which have details about the 2G spectrum scam.

Officials said that the diaries, written in English and Tamil, contain names of a few hawala dealers who may had exported money to foreign countries.
