All party meeting fails; Parl deadlock to continue
The opposition stood firm on the demand of Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe to the 2G spectrum scam. But the government rejected the opposition's demand of JPC probe.
Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) leaders said that they will allow Parliament to function only when government allows JPC probe to the 2G spectrum scam.
It was the second all party meeting to end the Parliament logjam. Earlier on Nov 16, all party meeting called by government was failed to find possible solution. In that meeting also Opposition demanded JPC probe.
Following the JPC demand by opposition, both Houses of the Parliament adjourned on Tuesday. It was continuous 13th day, the Parliament adjourned without any proceedings.
