Security fails; Maoists' bomb kills 8 in Bihar
The bomb, which was found on Nov 20 during the last phase of poll in the state, was left at a field without defusing by the security forces in the state.
However, police officials stated, "People were told, and local chowkidars were deputed there. Yet, kids fiddled with it and that is when the bomb went off."
Expressing shock Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar ordered for a minute probe into the incident.
"The chief minister has asked the two senior officials Saha and Dutta to jointly probe the incident and submit a report to him soon," state government official stated after the explosion.
