JK: Interlocutors to meet Omar

Srinagar, Oct 25: Despite of several controversies raised agaist the three interlocutors appointed for Jammu Kashmir, the team continued to work in the valley as they would meet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah on Oct 25.

The panel comprising Dilip Padgaonkar, MM Ansari and Radha Kumar would meet Abdullah and a cross section of people in Srinagar to discuss the present scenario of the valley.

While BJP slammed one of the interlocutors, Padgaonkar over his statement on the necessity of Pakistan's involvement in Kashmir issue, the Hurriyat group decided to boycott the meeting with them.

The interlocutors met journalists in the city and visited the central jail in Srinagar and spoke to the inmates, where the interlocutors were told to prove their sincerity in solving the Kashmir dispute if they expected to be taken seriously.
