Kerala Tourism receives best website award
Kearal, Jul 29: Kerala Tourism"s global consumer travel site had been selected for the best site for the prestigious award 'PATA Gold Award 2010'.
The award will be presented on Sep 17 at the PATA Travel Mart in Macau.
The award is one of the leading international award honouring those, who have made outstanding contributions to the development and promotion of travel and tourism across the Asia Pacific region.
Text, photographs, audio and video content through more than 12,000 web pages are contained in the website, which are indexed in major search engines.
The website is currently available in English, Hindi, French, German, Chinese, Italian and Spanish as well as select content in Malayalam.
"The tourism website is integral to Kerala Tourism"s worldwide marketing effort to promote Kerala"s amazing holiday experiences to the world," said Dr Venu, Kerala Tourism Secretary.
