Medical student delivers in plane, tries to flee
Amritsar, Jul 8: Amandeep Kaur Mann, a resident of Punjab's Hoshiarpur town delivered a baby in aircraft and tried to run away leaving the baby in the toilet on Wednesday, Jul 7.
According to the sources, Amandeep Kaur was returning from Turkmenistan. After giving birth to a bady, she left the child in the plane's toilet and came out of the aircraft when it landed at the Rajasansi international airport. Later she was arrested.
"Mann was very disturbed. Aircraft staff inquired about her health as she was frequently rushing to the toilet. After the plane landed aircraft crew was shocked to hear the baby crying in the toilet," a police official said.
At the beginning she refused to admit that the baby belonged to her, however after interrogation she confessed.
Amandeep Kaur was a medical student of a college in Turkmenistan and had boarded the flight from Ashgabat.
Now a case has been filed against her.
