Viveka's boyfriend seeks anticipatory bail

Mumbai, Jun 28: After the police indicated that Viveka Babajee's boyfriend, Gautam Vohra, will be questioned in connection with the supermodel's suicide, Gautam on Monday, Jun 28 moved sessions court in Mumbai for an anticipatory bail.

The Viveka did her self in on Friday, Jun 25. While the police confirmed that it was a suicide, they had to open up the abetment to suicide angle when they found - "you killed me Gautam Vohra" - written in the former Miss Mauritius' diary.

The police on Sunday, Jun 28 said that Gautam will be grilled over his girlfriend's death and issued summons.

"Thirty-two-year-old Vohra is a stock broker and has been mentioned on the last page of Viveka's diary note. The police will gather details about what kind of relationship they shared and what exactly happened when they last met on June 24," senior police inspector Mangesh Pote of the Khar Police Station had issued.

A case has been registered and the police is gathering circumstantial evidence. The sleuths are currently recording statements of the dead model's friends and relatives.

Police sources have revealed the Vohra is not yet being considered as an accused as it was too early to make such conclusions.
