Goa: Nadia's estranged husband withdraws bail plea
Panaji, Jun 10: Wilson Barretto, the estranged husband of Nadia Torrado, whose mysterious death continues to hit headlines due to the suspected inolvement of the former Goa Tourism Minister Fransisco Pacheco, has withdrawn his anticipatory bail application.
Confident over the way the Crime Branch of Goa Police was carrying out the probe into Nadia's death, Barretto on Thursday, Jun 10 withdrew the his anticipatory bail application.
He had earlier moved the court for anticipatory bail fearing arrest after he was questioned by the Crime Branch over the death of his wife.
28-year-old Nadia died at a hospital on May 30, after she consumed poison. However, demands for probe into her death have raised several questions and dragged in several names into the case.
