RS revokes suspension of four 'unruly' SP MPs
New Delhi, Mar 15: Out of the seven Rajya Sabha MPs who were suspended from the house for unruly behaviour, suspensions imposed on four Samajwadi Party MPs have been revoked.
The four SP members include Veerpal Singh Yadav, Kamal Akhtar, Nand Kishore Yadav, Aamir Alam Khan.
After the house adopted government's resolution to revoke the suspension of the four members, the Deputy Chairman K Rehman Khan announced the revocation on Monday, Mar 15.
However, no specific reason was given for the revokation.
Rashtriya Samajwadi Party's Subhash Yadav, Lok Janshakti Party's Sabir Ali and Ejaz Ali (unattached) are the three others who were suspended on Mar 9 for unruly behaviour while protesting against the Women's Reservation Bill.
There was no mention of these three members in the resolution.
