Pak: Suicide blast topples mosque, kills 3
Islamabad, Feb 27: Another suicide attack rattled northwest Pakistan on Saturday, Feb 27 when a car bomber detonated explosives near a police station killing three people and injuring over 25 people.
A mosque near the police station also toppled, informed Ajmal Khan, a government official.
The police station in Karak in North West Frontier Province was targeted in the attack and both civilians and security personnel were among the casualties.
Injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital. No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
However, over the past year the security personnel have been constantly targeted in the terror attacks after a massive offensive was launched to wipe off the militants in the North Western Frontier Province (NWFP) bordering Afghanistan.
