Pak suicide blast: Area police chief killed

Peshawar, Feb 20: An area police chief was killed and several officers were wounded in a suicide attack on one of the two police stations on Saturday, Feb 20, police said.

Police official Gul Zareen informed that the two police stations in the district of Mansehra were attacked by a team of suicide bombers, adding that the attacks took place just minutes from each other.

He said that the local police chief Khalil Khan was killed in the incident as the attacker, who was wearing a suicide jacket, blew himself up inside the police station in Mansehra.

Officers are trying to capture the second attacker who had fled to a nearby building, he said.
