YSR's last rites at Pulivendula
Hyderabad, Sep 4: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajashekhara Reddy's body has reached his birthplace Pulivendula in Kadapa district where he will be buried.
Tens of thousands of fans and followers have arrived at the site to bid their final adieu to the Chief Minister who earned the reputation of 'Man of Masses'.
The coffin made its way to the sea of people who gathered to mourn the untimely death of their leader while national leaders lined up to pay homage to the Congress leader.
YSR's body was in Hyderabad's Lal Bahudur stadium for final viewing which was again overflowing with thousands of people. Leaders like LK Advani and Deve Gowda came to the stadium to pay their tributes to the leader, and provide moral support to the Chief Minister's son YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
YSR died in a chopper crash that took place on Wednesday, Sep 2 morning. His body along with those of four others was only recovered on Thursday, Sep 3 from a hilltop in the dense Nallamalla forests of Kurnool.
