Ted Kennedy to rest in Arlington National Cemetery
Boston, Aug 28: US Senator Ted Kennedy's body would be kept for two days in Boston and ultimately buried at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on Saturday , Aug 29.
Kennedy's family spokesperson said that Ted's body would pass through all those sites, which mattered to him. The hearse had visited the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on Thursday, Aug 28.
At Smith Hall Kennedy would rest in peace guarded by an honour guard and representatives from each of the four military branches. A memorial service would be held there at the same venue on Friday, Aug 28.
The US President Barack Obama would pay respect to the late Senator at a funeral in Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica on Saturday, Aug 29.
Kennedy who died on Tuesday, Aug 25 would be buried next to his slain brothers, John and Robert.
