Pak: Blast in Peshawar kills 6, injures 8
Peshawar, Aug 17: A bomb exploded in Pakistan's Peshawar town killing at least six people and injuring eight others on Monday, Aug 17.
The bomb which was attached to a pick-up-truck detonated in the town bordering the restive North Western Frontier Province (NWFP) which is a tribal region.
According to media reports, two women and three children were among the six who died in the blast. Critically injured people have been admitted in a Peshawar hospital.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, and the security forces who cordoned off the area started a search immediately after the blast.
Just few hours before this blast, a suicide bomber detonated explosives in Swat valley killing two security personnel and injuring three others.
