Hooch Tragedy: Oppn demands for Modi's resignation
Ahmedabad, Jul 10: The death toll of the Gujarat Hooch tragedy is just climbing up. According to the latest figures at least 120 people have died and about 100 people are in the hospital. While the people protest against the government, the opposition is demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
On Thursday, Jul 9 protesting mobs disrupted traffic Odhav and Viratnagar areas. Talking to the media, some of the people blame the government and the police who fail ti take action against the bootleggers. The people believe that the police who are aware of the illegal liquor chains and vendors just take hafta from them and let them operate.

The
opposition
raised
an
uproar
in
the
opposition
demanding
that
the
Chief
Minister
must
step
down.
Now, there are added allegations that the authorities are trying to the hide the number of dead in the incident.
As of now, about 24 bootleggers have been arrested.
