India: Inflation stays negative, at -1.14pc
New Delhi, Jun 25: The Inflation rate in India stayed negative for the second consecutive week. The rate of inflation for the week ended Jun 13 stands at -1.14 percent.
The rate of inflation for the week ended Jun 6 was -1.61 per cent. This shows that the inflation rose 0.6 per cent for the week ended Jun 13 leaving the benchmark wholesale-price inflation index at -1.14 per cent.
Official data indicates that the index for primary articles went up by 0.1 per cent, and that of fuel and power rose by 0.4 percent. For the manufactured products the index went up by 1 percent.
