Washington, Jun 19: The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is apparently working from home after she had a fall on Wednesday afternoon, Jun 17 at the State Department.

Clinton is working from home since Thursday, Jun 18 after fracturing her elbow in the fall. Richard Holbrooke, the envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan was with Clinton when she fell.

"Secretary Clinton appreciates the professionalism and kindness she received from the medical team who treated her this evening and looks forward to resuming her full schedule soon," said department spokeswoman Cheryl Mills.

Barack Obama was one of the first people to call Hillary after the incident, said Philip Crowley, an assistant secretary of state.

Crowley added that Clinton was working from home, She is already taking some calls, and I'm sure starting to learn the limits of movement -- how well you can text with one arm in a sling."
