Budget airlines SpiceJet too hikes fuel surcharge
Mumbai, Jun 18: After Jet Airways and Kingfisher, budget air carrier SpiceJet too increase the fuel surcharge by Rs 400 with immediate effect on Thursday, Jun 18.
Samyukta Shreedharan, the SpiceJet Chief Operating Officer said, "we have increased fuel surcharge by Rs 400 on our flights." The airlines hiked the fuel surcharge as a result of over 12 pc increase in the Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices by oil marketing companies on June 15.
On Tuesday, Jun 16 Jet Airways and Kingfisher hiked fuel surcharge by Rs 400.
