China to give Pak "practical" help to counter extremism
Beijing, June 11 (ANI): Pakistan's Ambassador to China Masood Khan has said Beijing has assured Islamabad of all practical help in its war against terror.
Talking to media persons here, Khan said both Pakistan and China have expressed their desire to counter the increasing extremism in the region with full force.
He termed the ongoing China visit of Interior Minister Rehman Malik as 'productive and fruitful', saying both sides have expressed their resolve to fight extremism, terrorism, and separatism jointly.
"We have also exchanged views on how to formulate a joint strategy and take practical steps to fight against these evil forces," The Daily Times quoted Khan, as saying. (ANI)
