McAfee's report titled 'The Web's Most Dangerous Search Terms', which was the outcome of an extensive research analysing over 2,600 of the most popular search terms of 2008 from a range of sources has unveiled the search terms that are used as baits by hackers.

The Indian result of the study showed that the ten most dangerous search terms in India are:

  1. Waptrick
  2. Katrina Kaif
  3. Orkut
  4. Yahoo Mail
  5. Shahid Kapoor
  6. Rediffmail
  7. How to Earn Money
  8. Namitha
  9. Shimla

Interestingly searching for seemingly harmless terms like 'iPhone' and 'Barack Obama' proved more dangerous than searching for terms like 'Viagra'.
