Islamabad, May 31 (ANI): The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Baitullah Mehsud has ordered his operatives to strike small hamlets in the Swat and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and to look out for new hideouts in other parts of the country.

According to The Nation, Mehsud recently had telephonic discussions with unknown accomplices and told them to carry out bombings in small villages, which in turn would promote suicide attacks in other areas of the country.

Mehsud had also sent letters to his commanders based in Lower Dir, Swat and Buner in this regard.

Sources said that the telephonic discussions were also intercepted by the Army, in which Mehsud reportedly said: "The Army has entered into every nook and corner of the city, therefore, we should find new hideouts in other areas of the country."

Mehsud also asked his operatives to muster the support of locals by carrying out bombings in small villages. (ANI)
