Kanpur, May 30: After the UP government's controversial move of slapping NSA on BJP leader Varun Gandhi, the UP police now slap National Security Act on three men in Kanpur pn charges of eve teasing.

The trio had allegedly teased a girl when they were drunk. The bystanders beat them up and handed over to the police, who then booked them under the NSA.

In Uttar Pradesh on an average there are three eve teasing cases reported every day in the districts. Police took the case seriously and decided to invoke NSA against those charged of eve teasing involving violence. Police said to media, "many think the city is unsafe for girls. So our seniors have asked us to take the matter seriously and hence NSA has been slapped on them. They are threat to our society, hence imposing NSA is justified."
