Peshawar Blasts: 2 terrorists shot dead, 4 dead
Peshawar, May 28: Media Reports claim that the blasts in Peshawar have claimed lives of 4 people along with injuring 70 people.
Unconfirmed reports say that two of the militants involved in the blasts have been gunned down by police and that there are still firing goin on between the militants and the police.
The
Security
forces
are
trying
to
clear
the
area
of
the
market
so
that
they
can
survey
the
area
and
launch
full
fledged
rescue
operations.

Pak: 2 blasts in Peshawar; 3 dead, 25 injured
Just a day after the Lahore suicide attack that killed about 25 people; Pakistan witnessed two more blasts in Peshawar killing at least 3 people and injuring up to 25 people.
The blasts took place in Qissa Khwani Bazaar at about 5:30 local time. More than 15 shops have been destroyed in the blasts and people are feared to be trapped inside these shops.
Media reports suggest that this is a strike that was triggered off by the ongoing rescue operations in the Swat Valley.

was

to
the

against
the
militants
in
the

Frontier
Province

a
group
that
was
reportedly
linked
with
the
Taliban
claimed
responsibility
for
the
Lahore
attacks.
