Air India Exp air hostess found dead in Chennai

Chennai, May 25: Neethi Kumari, an Air India Express air hostess was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside her house on Saturday, May 24 night. Her body was found inside a locked penthouse on the terrace of a house in Golden George Nagar. She had been staying alone.

25-year-old Neethi who hailed from Bihar had been in Chennai for the past two and a half years. She flew in both the domestic and international sectors. On Saturday, May 23 two of her colleagues came to the house to check on her as she was not picking up the phone and had not reported for work since Thursday, May 21.

They found that the house was locked from inside. When they peeped-in through the window, they realised that a foul smell was coming from the house and called the police. Police broke the door and entered the house and found Neethi lying below the bed. Police said that there was no visible injuries on the body and also said that there were no signs of strangulation or sexual assault. The post-mortem report is awaited.
