Jet Fuel prices to see a raise of 1.8 per cent

New Delhi, May 15: The state-run oil firms on Friday, May 15 raised the Jet fuel or Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices by 1.8 per cent.

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum hiked the ATF prices by by Rs 585 per kilolitre in Delhi to Rs 32,199 with effect from midnight, an IOC official said. In Mumbai, the rate will go up from Rs 32,530.18 per kl to Rs 33,138 per kilolitre.

In Kolkata the fuel will cost Rs 40,122 per kl as opposed to Rs 39,512.96 per kl. In Chennai the price of the fuel will be Rs 35,724 per kl.

Marginal reduction of one per cent came into effect on May 1 which had brought the rates in Delhi down to Rs 31,614.51 per kl. Before this, the three oil giants, which revise the jet fuel rates based on the international markets, on Apr 16 had hiked ATF rates by about 6.7 per cent.
