Rahman critical of politicos using 'Jai Ho'
Chennai, May 13: The 'Indian Mozart' A R Rahman on Wednesday, May 13 expressed disapproval over political parties using his oscar winning song 'Jai Ho' for poll campaigns.
"I was like in the bed, I was dehydrated, exhausted, and then all these things happened, somebody told me these people are using it. I hate politics. I just want people to serve the people. I want governments, whichever government comes in, to be unbiased and say there should be justice in the country and that's my purpose in life," said the Maestro in an interview to the CNN channel"s Talk Asia show.
The Congress has earlier brought the exclusive rights for the 'Slumdog Millionaire' number for its poll campaign but was later dropped it.
