Amar accused of provoking Jaya to commit suicide

Lucknow, May 12: The police has revealed that Amar Singh has been accused of instigating Jayaprada to commit suicide by the supporters Azam Khan.

"We have accepted the complaint against Amar Singh, but a case against him would be registered after the completion of the inquiry that is underway," District Police Chief Jyoti Narayan said on Tuesday, May 12.

He added that on Sunday, May 10 Amar Singh had allegedly said that in case of defeat in elections, Jaya Prada could commit suicide while addressing an election rally in Rampur.

The police official said that after inquiry would probably be done by Tuesday evening, May 12 after which a case will be registered against the General Secretary of Samajwadi Party (SP) Amar Singh.
