Tech Mahindra wins bid for Satyam Computers
Mumbai, Apr 13: Tech Mahindra has reportedly won the bid for Satyam Computer Services and is set to pay Rs.1757 crore to buy 31 per cent of the stake.
Fraud hit Satyam Computers went into bidding on Monday, Apr 13 with Justice SP Bharucha overseeing the process. Larson & Toubro, Tech Mahindra, Wilbur Ross and Cognizant Technologies qualified the technical bidding stage consequently becoming the contenders for the financial stage.
Larsen & Toubro had bid at a Rs 49.50 per share. However, Tech Mahindra drew the race to an end with its bid of Rs 58 per share.
